Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving Day is just a week from today ~ wow!  We are looking forward to seeing you and your family this weekend.  Potluck theme is “Thanksgiving Dinner.”  Please bring a favorite Thanksgiving holiday dish to share!

We are in the process of organizing our annual holiday program & reception.  Would you like to be involved?  We would love to have your input and support!  Potential dates for the program include Friday evening, Dec 11....Friday evening Dec 18....or Sunday evening, Dec 20.  We will also plan some Christmas caroling following potlucks during Dec.  Please let us know which of the above dates work best for you and your family.  We want to have a great turn out for our program!

For the next several weeks....look for a stack of Christmas cards on the table in the fellowship area.  Join us in writing holiday cards to our military families here in Kentucky.  We will deliver the cards in December!

We are collecting gently used Christmas decorations for Youth Arbor Services again this year.  Bring your donations through November 28.

Don’t forget our Thanksgiving basket!  We’ll be giving a large basket of non perishable food to a needy family this Thanksgiving and have already begun collecting items to go inside.  You will see a large white basket on a table in the fellowship area for the next two weekends.  Items that are needed include:

Instant mashed potatoes
gravy
juice
stuffing mix
cranberry sauce
soups
canned sweet potatoes
canned corn, green beans, peas etc
canned fruits
jello/pudding mix
graham cracker pie crusts

Thank you all very much for your donations and contributions this year!  We have such a generous church family here at BGSC!
