Fall Back for Brunch

Happy November!  We are looking forward to seeing you and your family for a day of praise, worship, food, fellowship, & fun.  Potluck theme is "Fall Back for Brunch" in honor of the impending time change this weekend!  Bring a favorite breakfast treat to share...
We will be putting a food basket together for a needy family around Thanksgiving again this year....stay tuned!

FYI...We will be joining Twin Pines for their live nativity...more on that soon...

Harvest Haystacks

Thanks to everyone who came out for our annual pilgrimage to the Kelley Farm 10-acre Corn Maze last Sat night.  We missed those of you who couldn't join us!!

Potluck theme this week is "Harvest Haystacks."  Bring a favorite haystack topping...

Would anyone be willing to update BGSC's prayer list?  Help!  It would only require recording the requests each week & then emailing them on to the group.

Anyone interested in leading prayer or doing special music or offertory?  We would love some new faces and/or tunes up front!

Tailgate Time

Our potluck theme this weekend is "Tailgate Time!"  We'll celebrate several birthday's too.  Bring your favorite hot appetizer, salad or a plate of sandwiches to share!

We are making plans for our annual pilgrimage to Kelley's Corn-maze next weekend, October 18.  We hope you can join us!  And, we are beginning to think about BGSC's annual Christmas program planned for Friday evening, December 19!  Stay tuned!  We'd love your input....

Keeneland Kick-off

Happy October!  Our potluck theme this weekend is "Keeneland Kick-off" as the races return tomorrow!  Come enjoy a baked potato bar with Kentucky themed "sides" like corn pudding & Limestone Bibb lettuce salad with Merrick Inn creamy cucumber dressing!  Rumor has it there will also be a Derby pie in attendance...

Oktoberfest

Our potluck theme this last weekend of September is "Oktoberfest."

FYI...BGSC will again be collecting wet wipes & diapers (size 1-3) for the Chrysalis House here in Lex (Kentucky's oldest & largest licensed substance abuse treatment program for women....also specializing in pregnant & parenting women).

Please remember that Twin Pines Christian Church has on-going collections for empty prescription bottles, aluminum pop tabs, mini toiletry items, soup labels & both children/adult tennis shoes. There are containers in the fellowship hall for these items. For answers to questions about any of the above, please contact MarshaSams, TPCC OutReach Minister.

Soccer practice with Coach is ON for this Sunday....hope to see your kiddos there!

Our potluck theme this week is "Fall Faves!"  The first day of Autumn is next Tuesday....can you believe it?!  We'll be celebrating 2 birthdays this weekend too.  Bring a favorite soup, fall salad, or fav fall dessert to share!
