March Madness

Happy Thursday folks!  How can it be the last weekend of March?!  Our potluck theme this Sabbath is of course, “March Madness!”  If possible, bring a salad, appetizer, tray of sandwiches, dessert or UK BLUE decorations for our buffet table.  Next week......it’s “HAYstacks” for lunch to kick off Keeneland’s opening weekend here in the Bluegrass!

NOTE....we are still collecting gently used or new hoodies and sweatpants in sizes L-XXL for the Youth Arbor Services Center here in Lex!  We love helping our community...

  Our adult Bible study class will meet as usual in the fellowship hall by the fire and will be discussing Lesson 13, “I Make All Things New.”  In our “little’s class,” we will be continuing our new story theme, “He’s Alive “ beginning our countdown to Easter weekend, April 19-21.  Our older youth class will be studying a new devotional we started last week and doing a fun craft thanks to Ms. Stephanie!

trail mix/dried fruit/granola bars/jam
blank cards and stamps for our card ministry

zip lock bags ... all sizes
paper plates with “three sections”

St. Patrick's Day Dinner

Happy mid-March....Spring is coming next week!  Our potluck theme this weekend is, “St. Patrick’s Day Dinner.”  If possible, bring an Irish casserole, entrée, side dish, salad, or dessert to share.  And any “green” or Irish decorations for our buffet table....
 
We will be starting a new story theme called “He’s Alive” in our “little peoples class.”  It will begin our countdown to Easter weekend April 19-21.  Hope to see you and your kiddos there!  And our older youth class will be doing a really fun St. Patrick’s Day craft thanks to Ms. Stephanie!

Mardi Gras

Happy March!  Our potluck theme this weekend is, “Mardi Gras.”  If possible, bring a Cajun casserole, entrée, side dish, salad, or dessert to share.  And decorations for our buffet table!

NOTE.....the time changes this weekend!  Agh!  But that means Spring is on the way!

We have some BGSC news.....Rick & Janet welcomed a new grandbaby girl this week!  Congratulations!  Also, please keep Geneva’s son Butch in your prayers as he begins chemo.  We want to remember the Gardner and Beane families who lost loved ones this week....
