Birthdays, Outreach, Concerts, and More: Upcoming Events - June & July

June 22 - BGSC will celebrate the first official day of Summer & Geneva's 90th Birthday!!

June 29, 5 pm - BGSC will be making dinner at the Ronald McDonald House.

July 3, 8 pm - BGSC will be attending the annual patriotic concert on the lawn @ Transylvania Univ.  Plan to join us for a fun picnic & concert!!

July 5 - BGSC will have its 3-year (patriotic) anniversary celebration & we will celebrate Sabrina's birthday!

Father's Day 50s Diner

Happy Father's Day Weekend to all the great dad's out there ~ but especially all of you who are a part of our BGSC family!



Our potluck theme this week will be "Father's Day 50's Diner!"  Lunch will include homemade veggie burgers with lots of toppings, French fries, onion rings, skillet baked beans, root beer floats, & chocolate malts!

BGSC's youth are playing soccer with Coach Austin again!  Let us know if your kiddos are interested in a good workout.  Sunday mornings at 9 am....the Schmidt's yard....pool is open!  PS: Don't forget to catch the World Cup ~ games will continue for the next 4 weeks!

Cabana Banana

Welcome to June!  We start a new sermon series this week!

Our potluck theme is "Cabana Banana!"  Lunch will include spicy black beans over coconut lime rice with plantain chips, lots of toppings, tropical green salad, & "piƱa colada" punch.





BGSC's youth are playing soccer with Coach Austin again!  Let us know if your kiddos are interested in a good workout.  Sunday mornings at 9 am....the Schmidt's yard....pool is open!

FYI ~ Father's Day weekend is coming soon....if you would like to participate in our special service or have any cool ideas for potluck - let us know!  Drum roll....BGSC will have its 3-year anniversary in just one month on July 5!  And, a group from BGSC will be attending the annual patriotic concert on the lawn @ Transylvania Univ. on Thursday evening, July 3.  Plan to join us for a fun picnic & amazing concert!!

Red, White & Blue Burger Bonanza




Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!  Pools are opening....grills are warming up....Summer is just around the corner!

Potluck theme this week is "Red, White & Blue Burger Bonanza" (including burgers, chips, potato salad, baked beans & dessert)!

FYI...this is the last wknd for TPCC's shoe collection drive called "Soles4Souls" (gently used or brand new shoes).  They are trying to collect 25,000 pairs!  There are collection boxes in the fellowship hall if you are interested in participating.  Thanks!

Go Green!



With a nod to Earth Day this week, our potluck theme will be none other than "Go Green" (featuring anything organic and/or fresh like salads, veggies & sides).  We will also be celebrating a special birthday lady....so cake & ice-cream will be served to balance out all the "green stuff".
