This weekend we will enjoy a patriotic service & fellowship dinner. Our potluck theme will be, "Bluegrass BBQ" featuring BBQ chickettes on sliders, salads, chips, & a big cake celebrating BGSC's 3-year anniversary & Sabrina's birthday.
The youth group will continue running a LemonAID stand during potluck for the next 4 weeks....so bring your loose change! This initiate benefits homeless kids right here in the Bluegrass.
FYI....There is a young middle school aged girl here in Lexington who is in desperate need of clothing/shoes/accessories (like socks, headbands, underwear etc). Let us know if you are interested in participating & we can give you more info like sizing. We will collect items this week/weekend & get them to her ASAP. Thank you!
BGSC's youth are having a ball playing soccer with Coach Austin this Summer! Let us know if your kiddos are interested in a good workout. Sunday morning's at 9 am @ the Schmidt's.

July 3, 7 pm - BGSC will attend the annual patriotic concert on the lawn @ Transylvania University (picnic @ 7, concert @ 8). Bring a sandwich along & plan to join us......we'll all share chips, cookies, & drinks. Text Melia or Andrew with questions regarding where to park, etc!
July 4, 7 am ~ join us for hot donuts & watch the early morning Lex 10k at the corner of Hanover & Richmond Road! Police will close the roads down by 6:45 am, so come in via Tate's Creek Road if you arrive after that. It's a ball ~ hope you can make it! Bring a blanket or lawn chair. There is a street fair & parade following the 10k if anyone is interested....
July 5 - BGSC will have its 3-year (patriotic) anniversary potluck/celebration (& we will also celebrate Sabrina's birthday)! Please let us know if you would like to participate by reading a patriotic poem or singing/playing an All-American song!
July 8, 6:00 - BGSC will meet at the Red Mile for a fun evening at the Junior League Horse Show! (Stick Horse Race is at 6:30 for those 9 & under). Free tix for the show will be passed out this weekend.
July 12 & 13 - VBS @ Twin Pines where BGSC meets each week. They have invited our kiddos to participate so let us know if you're interested!
