Cape Cod Cook-Out

Happy Labor Day weekend.  We have several birthdays and an anniversary to celebrate this weekend as well!

Our potluck theme this last weekend of August is "Cape Cod Cook-Out!"  We'll enjoy "scallop" rolls (veggie version of lobster rolls!), old bay potato chips, green salad with craisins/blueberries/goat cheese/pecans, cranberry iced tea, & dessert!

NOTE - Soccer practice with Coach is ON for this Sunday!  Join us at the Schmidt's @ 9 am....

COMING UP:

September 6 - Potluck theme will be "Let's Luau" as we drag our feet & kiss summer goodbye....

September 13 - Potluck theme will be "Patriotic Picnic" in honor of Patriot Day, September 11.

September 20 - Potluck theme will be "Oktoberfest."

September 27 - Potluck theme will be  "Fall Fav's."

October 4 - Potluck theme will be "Keeneland Kick-off."

October 11 - Porluck theme will be "Tailgate Time."

County Fair

Thanks to everyone who came out on Sabbath evening to serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House!

Our potluck theme this weekend is "County Fair" in honor of the KY State Fair which is in full swing in Louisville.  Let's dig into corn dogs, nachos, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, etc......& perhaps someone will be kind enough to bring a green salad to offset the junk food?!  ;/)

NOTE - Soccer practice with Coach is CANCELLED for this Sunday!

Back to School

Our potluck theme this week is "Back to School!"  We'll enjoy sandwiches, chips, relishes, apples, "ants on a log," cookies, apple sparkling water & juice boxes.  THIS Sabbath evening BGSC will again serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House at 7:00 (arrive at 5 pm to help cook/set up).  We hope you & your family can join us for set-up, supper, & clean-up!

Mexican Hat Dance Haystacks

This weekend our potluck theme will be, "Mexican Hat Dance Haystacks!" Chips, beans, olives, pickled jalapeños, & salsa provided.....so bring your fav haystack topping!

FYI - a local shelter is still in need of 2 window air conditioner units & youth and/or adult sized bathing suits.  See Melia for details...
