Soul Food

We look forward to seeing you and your family this last Sabbath of January!  We are back on track after this crazy winter weather and a busy holiday weekend!  Our potluck theme will be “Soul Food” in honor of Black History Month and MLK Day this past week.  And....we will celebrate all of our January birthdays & anniversaries!  Happy Birthday to Bonnie Reed, Emma Kathryn Greeman, Kieth Boyson, Ellie Gray Calvert, Georgia Gail Dawahare, and Rick Kurzynske!  Did we miss anyone???
 
If you know someone who would appreciate a card....please give Stephanie their name and address and we will add them to the list.  We are collecting blank cards, stickers and stamps.  BGSC is still collecting new rolls of soft baby yarn (in any color) for hats being knitted & given to newborn babies in the UK NICU here in town.  Thank you!

Brunch and Bible Study

We look forward to seeing you and your family this Sabbath!  Note....our regular worship service AND potluck are cancelled this week because so many folks are ill or out of town per the Martin Luther King Holiday weekend.  BUT, we will still enjoy our light brunch/fellowship and an extended Bible study time together starting at 10 am.  If possible, please bring a breakfast dish or brunch treat to share.  Next weekend will be our MLK service & “Soul Food” potluck.  And....we will celebrate all of our January birthdays and anniversaries!

No Potluck this week! Join us for brunch instead!

We look forward to seeing you and your family this Sabbath!  Note....potluck is cancelled this week because of a funeral at the church.  But.....we will still enjoy our light brunch/fellowship time.  Bonnie will not be there to set up her breakfast spread this weekend so if you would like to bring a breakfast or brunch dish to share that would be great.  We hope to be finished with the worship service by 12:45 so the incoming group can take over the facility at 1:00.  Thanks all!

Happy New Year 2019!  We hope this holiday season brought you and yours much joy, love, prosperity, happiness, and memories to last a lifetime.  Here at BGSC we are so very thankful for each and every one of you!  Thank you for your support, prayers, love, and friendship this past year.  We are looking forward to watching where God leads BGSC in 2019 as we turn 8!  If your contact information has changed....please let us know as we will update our records in the next few weeks.

  We will share a communion service this weekend.  Our “Agape” potluck will include sweet breads, fruits, nuts, small sandwiches, and sweets....etc.  We hope you can join us for this special service as we begin a new year together...
