NEWSFLASH ~ We have had an offer for BGSC to participate in a potential church building mission trip to Laos!  It would be in cooperation with ADRA Laos or the Laos Mission.    Anybody interested??

We are looking for more folks to lead out in the prayer time, singing/playing a special musical number, or reading a scripture, etc....please let us know!

Continue to forward us your prayer requests as we are trying to compile an updated list and get a reliable prayer chain in motion!

NOTE...we have several graduations coming up this Spring/Summer.  We are planning a graduation party to celebrate these accomplishments!  Let us know if you or someone you know is graduating, & if you have any ideas or would like to help plan the event...

Prayer Requests

Do you have a request you would like our BGSC family to lift up in prayer?  Please leave a comment here and we will add it to our list.

Little Italy

Here we are ~ nearly halfway through the month of January & Valentine’s Day is just 4 weeks away.  Wow!  Before we know it BGSC will be celebrating it’s 4th anniversary!

We will continue with part two of our new six-part series this week.  Our potluck theme is, “Little Italy” & we’ll be celebrating a birthday.  Pasta & several sauces will be provided, along with a huge “Olive Garden” themed salad, garlic bread, drink & birthday dessert.  Feel free to bring a side dish of your choice or nothing at all.....as you know, we ALWAYS have mountains of food to share!

FYI....Youth Arbor Services (a local Lexington shelter for teens/families) is still in need of twin sheet sets, pillows, & towels (preferably white so they can be bleached).

Last week the pastor of Twin Pines CC celebrated her 10 year anniversary with their congregation.  On behalf of BGSC, we presented her with a card & a gift edition of The Desire of Ages.  Just wanted to let you all know!  She has been really wonderful to work with & we are blessed to be able to meet together each Sabbath in such a delightful space.

THANK YOU!  We delivered a load of blankets to the Salvation Army this week & they were thrilled.  These bitter temps have depleted their supplies & so they were very grateful for our donations.
